Turkish Wedding in Stuttgart
A Turkish summer wedding in Stuttgart with all their favorite people, from near and far.
I’ve known Hilal for several years. We first met while travelling and stayed in touch ever since, so photographing her wedding to Yasin felt especially special.
Their Turkish wedding celebrations lasted several days, but we joined them for the wedding party in Stuttgart. Since we were not photographing a ceremony or the earlier parts of the day, we had something that can sometimes be surprisingly difficult to find on a wedding day: time.
And we used it.
Before the party, we planned a relaxed couple shoot at a beautiful castle in Stuttgart. Having enough time for photos makes such a difference. No rushing, no constantly checking the clock, just some time to be together and let the photos happen naturally.
And there was a lot to celebrate.
Turkish weddings have such a special energy. A full dance floor, music, family, friends and so many people coming together in one room. After the calm of our couple session, the evening felt like the complete opposite in the best possible way.
